July 31, 2016 Leave a Comment

Hoping to have the best year ever?  Here are some ways you can!

You want to have the best year ever, right? Of course you do! I'm sharing some of my favorite resources for SLPs to help make speech therapy awesome!

As you can tell…there is a HUGE tpt sale coming up!  You can get 28% off my entire store by using the promo code BESTYEAR on August 1st and 2nd!  But before we talk about the sale…let's share some tips for having the BEST year ever!

  1. Be flexible!  As SLPs our schedules change, goals change, meetings change, and more.  Be ready to go with the flow this school year!!
  2. Be prepared!  The more prepared you are, the better the lessons will flow, the better your students will behave, and the more progress you will see!  I always try to sketch out for the week what goals I want to address and what materials I will need.  Yes, things can always change,  but having a plan in place for the week really helps me.
  3. Always try to have fun!  Remember why you went into this field and chose to work in this setting.  You are working with kids and kids that are struggling.  Make learning fun for them and it will be more fun for you too!

Need some help finding fun and activities so you are prepared for the year at a moments notice?!
