Are you ready for a brand new school year?
I know many of us are still in summer mode right now but there are also many that are headed back to school, so in this episode of SLP Coffee Talk, I’m sharing my best tips for setting yourself up for success this year.
I hope that you had some time to relax and reenergize this summer. It is so important that you are able to rest so that you can start refreshed and ready to go come fall.
I have found that the more I do during the first week of school, the more successful the year is. I feel less overwhelmed and more prepared when things get chaotic.
There are some things that I do every year that help me get going and be more prepared. It doesn’t have to be fancy or elaborate to be effective. It’s about using your time wisely now while things are calm so that you can prepare yourself for when you don’t have the extra time.
In This Episode You’ll Discover:
- What to prepare for school
- My favorite supplies to stay organized
- How I make my data binder
- How I organize my spreadsheets
- Tips for gathering all of the data you need
- How I set up my calendar
My goal is to inspire you to get some new and improved systems this year so that you can go into the new year knowing you are prepared for anything, even when things get hectic.
Do you have a system that I didn’t mention? Are there any tools you like or other aspects that you prepare for that I didn’t mention? I’d love to hear from you! Send me a DM.
I have a webinar coming up next week all about planning with ease and confidence for your older speech students. You’ll get a certificate of completion for showing up live and a pop-up Facebook group with bonus trainings and giveaways! Sign up now!
Joke of the Week:
Q: Why did the kid bring a ladder to school?
