I have been using Periscope since December 2015 and LOVING it!
What is Periscope? It is an app that allows you to create an account through Twitter and you can do live broadcasting. What does that mean for you? PD in your PJs!! Teachers have been using this platform to share teaching ideas and now, I am making sure that SLPs are doing the same!
I love watching other Periscopes and getting amazing teaching ideas, organization ideas, and I love to even watch Andy Cohen from Bravo broadcast from the set or his apartment (yes, celebrities are on there too!)!
But I have been loving the way that I can bring my blog posts to life and share ideas with you! I also just love the feedback, answering questions, and interacting with YOU!! It has been so much fun that I really make it my business to make sure that I am home, my daughter is asleep promptly, and I have tons of juicy therapy ideas to share with you each and every week!
How do you use this app? Just download it on your phone, create an account, then add me! Make sure your notifications are on so you can get informed when a broadcast is on. Periscopes are only available for replays on the app for 24 hours. After that, you can watch them by clicking HERE!
Who else should you follow on Periscope?
- Felice from The Dabbling Speechie: @dabblingspeech
- Marisha from Road to Speech: @roadtospeech
- Jen Jones from Hello Literacy: @hellojenjones
- Danielle from Sublime Speech: @sublimespeech
- Amy Harris from amywharris.com: @amyadapts
