I love browsing the local dollar stores to get inspiration and cheap therapy ideas! ย I love sharing what I found and how I used it!
Look at what I grabbed from the dollar store:
How did I use these goodies?
I took the leprechaun hats, wrote WH questions on my therapy table using a dry erase marker, and students tossed a gold coin to try and get it to land in a hat. ย They LOVED it!! ย They were really motivated!
Here, we sorted the sequencing cards into the correct box (dry erase marker!). ย Once they achieved the task, they were able to push the spinner to determine how many gold coins they could put into their cup. ย Once all of the coins were used, we counted to determine a winner. ย Again, they were so motivated!!
We also played, toss the coin for articulation practice! ย Learn more about it by watching the video below!!
We also tossed the coins onto Expanding Expression Tool Steppers to work on describing in a fun and interactive way!!
And of course…cannot forget about my pot of gold which can always be used to hold task cards!
Here is a freebie for you to use to work on multiple goals but can also be used as a planning page with the FREE Chatterpix iPad app!
