St. Patrick’s Day DIY Speech Ideas!
I love browsing the local dollar stores to get inspiration and cheap therapy ideas! I love sharing what I found and how I used it!
Look at what I grabbed from the dollar store:
How did I use these goodies?
I took the leprechaun hats, wrote WH questions on my therapy table using a dry erase marker, and students tossed a gold coin to try and get it to land in a hat. They LOVED it!! They were really motivated!
Here, we sorted the sequencing cards into the correct box (dry erase marker!). Once they achieved the task, they were able to push the spinner to determine how many gold coins they could put into their cup. Once all of the coins were used, we counted to determine a winner. Again, they were so motivated!!
We also played, toss the coin for articulation practice! Learn more about it by watching the video below!!
We also tossed the coins onto Expanding Expression Tool Steppers to work on describing in a fun and interactive way!!
And of course…cannot forget about my pot of gold which can always be used to hold task cards!
Here is a freebie for you to use to work on multiple goals but can also be used as a planning page with the FREE Chatterpix iPad app!
