Do you love a good fashion statement that also can be used to help your students? Look no further! A very talented SLP, Speech Street, created jewelry for that very purpose and is selling them on Teacherspayteachers!
I purchased her behavior bracelet and she was generous to provide me with the WH bracelet to try out so I can share with you!
Remember, the thoughts and opinions are all mine!
How cute is this behavior bracelet. She used Smarty Symbols to create the images so if you are already using these symbols, your students can easily recognize them. Just throw on the bracelet and you are ready to prompt your students with a quiet, visual cue, rather than nagging with constant verbal prompts! It is subtle, easy to do, and you look cute doing it!
She included all of the necessary behaviors. Check out below the work my student was able to accomplish because I was quietly prompting him to stay focused and to reduce self-stimlatory behaviors. (Preposition Picture Scenes).

How cute is this WH question bracelet. I am constantly needed to remind my life skills students on the different question forms and what they mean. I love not having to bring a large visual aid with me when I push into classrooms! I can just grab my bracelet and if I need a visual it is right there on my wrist. If I don't, the visuals weren't that heavy, bulky, or annoying and it just looked like a regular bracelet!
Speech Street posted the way she used this bracelet with her students on her Instagram page. She showed how she made a bracelet for her students. She sent me the images so I can try with my students! If you have Smarty Symbols, you can do this too!
I used lanyard and beads. I used a hole puncher and made a hole in the WH visuals. My student had a blast working on sequencing and following directions as we made these bracelets.
Here we are taking a bracelet “selfie”!
After we made the bracelets, we read “Under My Hood” and after each page, we practiced answering WH questions. My student had to find her visual when I said the WH question form to prompt herself!
She was so excited to bring this bracelet home with her to practice at home. Learn more about this WH bracelet by clicking HERE!
