2016 = Positivity!

January 2, 2016 Leave a Comment

You may have seen lots of bloggers and people sharing on social media their one little word to describe their goals/dreams for the new year.  I just love this idea and HAD to participate!

I am usually a positive person, but like everybody else, sometimes I have to work really hard at maintaining positivity, which is my word for 2016. Click through to read this post about how I'm going to do that in 2016!

Yes, I can always be found with a smile on my face, but sometimes I have to always remind myself to stay positive.  This is for my personal AND professional life!  I had some challenges in my personal life in 2015 and I just need to remind myself to stay positive in this new year.

With a smile and positivity, I can overcome ANYTHING!

Professional life?  Well as a school-based SLP, we are always faced with difficult students, the pressures of state testing, stuck in a small space with not much room to move around, and so much more.  But I always need to remind myself to STAY POSITIVE!  There are tons of people that would LOVE to be in my shoes.  We do make such a difference to our students and we need to always remember that!

I will be presenting at a TpT seller meet up in a few months and I AM PUMPED!  I am staying positive that I won't trip and fall while presenting!  It will be my first time presenting to a group other than my coworkers in my school.  I am hoping I gain the confidence to keep it going!  With a positive attitude in 2016, the sky is the limit for Speech Time Fun!
