Have you heard about the new Facebook group for SLPs? Dabbling with Speech Fun is a great way to stay positive and celebrate being an SLP!
Felice from The Dabbling Speechie and I teamed up in May 2016 to celebrate BHSM through a fun Facebook group that gave away over 20 prizes throughout the month. We really felt like Oprah with all of the giveaways!! We got amazing sponsorships from various companies that caters to SLPs and also gave away BUNDLES of our own products. The atmosphere was positive, we shared therapy tips, and even provided freebies throughout the month. Everyone enjoyed themselves so much that participated that they even asked us to keep the group open after BHSM was over. We listened…so…we are continuing the fun! Introducing, the Dabbling with Speech Fun Facebook Group!
What can you expect by joining this group? A community of SLPs just like you and me! Everyone that loves what they do and wants to celebrate being an SLP!
We will have tons of things to look forward to each and every week!
Every week we will have live Q and As to answer any SLP question you may have! We will cover tons of challenging topics and give you tons of therapy ideas!
We will also continue the giveaways but just once a week! You must be in it to win it!
We will continue to share fun memes, viral videos, therapy ideas, and freebies!
One new feature we will be introducing is an SLP spotlight! Each week, we will select an SLP to be featured to be celebrated. To enter to be featured, just save the image below, insert it into a program like Powerpoint or a photo editing app on your phone to complete each section. Send the image to me at Hallie@speechtimefun.com and you are entered! Each week we will randomly select an image from the entire batch that is sent over time and post it in the Facebook group. If your image is selected, you will be featured but you will ALSO get to win a free product of your choice from BOTH of our TpT stores!
It can be lonely sometimes being an SLP, especially if you are the only one in an entire school, like me. Not many people get what we do, the paperwork can get stressful, and it is always good to be reminded why we do what we do! It is nice to be surrounded like-minded people! Have no fear…Dabbling with Speech Fun Facebook group is here to the rescue! The fun will continue throughout the summer, it doesn't matter if you are working ESY or not!
