Go Together Giraffes

I have been working hard preparing stuff for my students.  There are tons of skills I like to start with.  Many speech and language students have vocabulary goals.  Once students start understanding categorization, I like to move onto associations.  It helps when they can demonstrate what items go together to help them chunk information.  I created a whole giraffe themed pack of activities to help introduce, practice, and review this concept!

Go together matching cards: all you have to do is print, glue onto card stock or index cards and laminate!  You can use these to introduce concept and then practice while playing matching games!

Name things that go together cards:
I created game cards that prompt students to name as many things as they can.  You can instruct students to name 2,3,4 or name as many as they can!  You can use these cards with any board game or reinforcing activity.  All you have to do is print and laminate!  Students can draw a card out of a hat or Ned's Head.  One student can name as many items as they can or students can go around the group and name until they cannot name any more!  This helps with word finding and understanding that things go together!
