I am always looking for ways to keep my students with Autism engaged and build vocabulary/MLU. I always like to use classroom themes with these students and sentence strips. With this in mind, I created a worksheet and used it with my students last week. It was such a HUGE success, I decided to create these worksheets for the entire year this way I am ready to go come September! You can also use these activities with preschool-kindergarten students as well.
In this activity:
-One page activities that can be easily printed for ready to go activities. Recommended to use with other themed activities to teach vocabulary.
-Students should cut below the line and glue the pictures in the appropriate boxes while using the sentence strip!
Students can color the pictures too since they’re all in black-and-white!
-Goals addressed with this activity:
- Categorization
- Answering wh- questions
- Building theme vocabulary
