If you cannot tell, I am ALL about quick, easy, motivating and functional therapy ideas. I love using what I have and making it work! Today I will share with you some fun Valentine's Day activities that you can easily try out tomorrow!
Do you have anchor chart paper or poster paper? Make a heart, draw lines on it to become a puzzle piece. Cut part the pieces. Have your kids decorate each piece with things having to do with the category of Valentine's Day (or with any other goal!)
If you have access to a computer, you can have each student go to a graffiti creating website by clicking HERE. Have them think of a word that represents Valentine's Day and they can design it in a fun and creative way!
You can also use cups/piles of candy hearts to demonstrate levels of shades of meaning of comparative/superlative! It can help make a visual of different degrees. Another benefit? It becomes a treat for the end of the session! You can also have students make origami heart crafts like this one!
